This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser of a new Pelletary unit and is non-transferable. It applies solely to products that have not been altered, modified, or repaired since leaving the factory. To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase (a dated bill of sale), along with the model name and serial number of your unit.
This warranty covers normal residential use only. It becomes void if the unit is used to burn any material other than 100% natural wood pellets (for which it is not certified by the EPA or CSA), or if it is operated contrary to the Pelletary owner's manual. Damages resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, lack of maintenance, overfiring, negligence, transportation accidents, power failures, downdrafts, venting issues, or miscalculated heating area are not covered.
The recommended heating area specified for each unit reflects the product’s capacity to maintain minimum room temperature during a power failure. Cosmetic issues—such as scratches, corrosion, warping, or discoloration—are excluded from coverage. Any use of non-original or unauthorized replacement parts voids the warranty.
All installations must be performed by a qualified technician, in compliance with the provided instructions and all applicable local and national codes. Service calls related to incorrect installation are not covered.
Pelletary may request return of the defective unit or component, or digital photos to support a warranty claim. Products returned for inspection must be shipped prepaid. If warranty coverage is confirmed, Pelletary will pay for return shipping of repaired or replaced items. Warranty-related repair work performed at the purchaser’s residence by a qualified technician must be pre-approved by Pelletary.
Coverage is limited according to the table below. Pelletary reserves the right to repair or replace any part or unit, or refund the wholesale value of the defective component. In no case will Pelletary be liable for indirect or consequential damages exceeding the original purchase price. Parts under lifetime coverage are limited to a one-time replacement.
This warranty applies to all Pelletary products purchased after March 1, 2022.
